I havent had to do lunches yet as kindy here is 4 days a week but only 2hrs 45mins long Rolling Eyes I have been saving ideas thogh as she starts school next term, here's some

Pizza Scrolls
Mini Quiche
Carrot/cucumber/apple stick with jatz and those tiny tbs of philly (she has this alot at home)
toothpicks with kabana, cheese, tomato
chopped fruit strawberries, watermelon, blueberries
vegetable slice
wraps rolled up and cut into cm thick slices
tuna fingers with sweet potato instead of white potato

Some days I feel like I hear "muuuuummmmm I'm hungry" allllll day so have trialed a few days of making a lnchbox up and she has to eat from that all day, yesterdays was

honey sandwich, Tw snack cup of yogurt, watermelon, apple, carrot, cucumber, jatz, philly, cheese stick, ktime bar, rice crackers. She didnt even eat half but I never heard that famous saying all day!
I also keep her 3 TW drink bottles in the fridge full of water so she can help herself

Wow!!! Charlotte eats!! Wow!!

Lily will only eat vegemite and cheese sandwiches Rolling Eyes

She loves carrots, so I can add them, pizza scrolls might be one too try, but they seem they would be difficult to make?? [I'm cooking-skills-challenged hehehe]

Can't WAIT to do lunchboxes for Amy- Ill be able to fill them with mini fritattas etc as she will eat ANYTHING including the plate hehehehe

Oh dont worry she is fussy! All these are just ideas for me to try really. She eats wraps-with lettuce or plain Shocked she does eat the jatz, carrot etc-she lives on it at the moment

hehe char LOVES vegemite and mushy cheese (cheese spread) sangas

she reckons she hates cheese now, and cooked carrot Rolling Eyes wont try tomato but going to try cherry tomato on the toothpicks with kabana (loves that) and cheese

She does eat quiche etc though

jeez, they sound easy, I *should* be able to cope with that!!!

Ive been giving Lily 'junk'

- vegemite/cheese single sandwich
- fruit bar thingamy
- mini packet of tiny teddies or shapes
- fruit [usually a banana]
- canned fruit in a TW cup
- a single carrot, unpeeled with the ends chooped off
- an apricot

for morning tea, we put stuff in a bowl for them to share, I usually give a pink lady apple, but tomorrow have a banana and chopped cheese cubes...

She loves mountain bread, but wouldn't that go stiff/dry in a luch box??

I so need this thread! And yay, I can post again... my pages wouldn't reload when I tried to yesty (but I think there were too many connected to our wifi)

I'm about to pack lunchboxes here, just boring stuff like sangers and fruit and yoghurt and Jatz with cheese. It would be great to switch it up a bit, especially with Paige cos she's so fussy, eats like a bird and chucks out half her lunchbox at school Rolling Eyes

At woolworths you can buy little dips in a 4-individual pack. My kids love dip!
I just pack one of them with either carrot sticks or some rice crackers..YUMMY

Nothing goes stiff/dry/gross if you keep it in Tupperware Kate. Not even mountain bread Wink

M usually has a combination of fruits (strawberries are the favourite) and cheese/crackers/sultanas/chopped dried apricots for her morning tea for Kindy. She doesn't have lunch there and they have a healthy eating policy which rules out heaps of stuff. Easier for me if I just stick to fruit.

I have a heap of lunchbox ideas from a meeting from TW if you want me to email you them Kate Smile
