Oooh, garage sale- how exciting- what are you selling???
Will Charlotte try to 'stop' you from selling her stuff?? Everytime I do a good sammies run, I always have to do it when Lily is at school
[No, I did NOT just put the giant Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy in the Salvos Bin...... they went off together to the..... night garden, or something ]

Re: Valentine's day??
Lol @ running away to The Night Garden, Abbey's giant Upsy Daisy is currently on holiday there too!
I got a Macbook Pro and an Ipod touch for Valentines Day.
Well Darrin was getting them for me anyway but is conviently claiming them as Valentines Day pressies
The kids made me some things at school and Abbey made a gorgeous Ladybug with "I may bug you but I love you" on it at Kindy...too cute!
I have made Darrin a choccy cake in the shape of a heart and will try not to be too much of a biatch to him today
Good luck with your Garage Sale Jakki!

DH ended up having to go to work at 2am, and didn't get home til 4.30, the joys of being on- call huh??
So, now HE is having a sleep in, and I made HIM coffee, if I was really lovely Id make pancakes in the shape of hearts, NOT!!!!!! LMAO
No, I just got him a card, and he left some Fererro Rochers on my pillow, even though he knows I prefer Rafaellos!!! Im guessing a servo pick up from last night
So, in short, Ive been up since 6 [thanks kids! ] but, have managed to handwater all our new plants in prep for the 37'C day today

Re: Valentine's day??
haha!
This arvo I said to DH it valentines day he replied with 'happy valentines day then' then said 'do I get it too?' 'happy valentines day'
That was the extent of our gift giving-although i got home from bowling and the movies last night and he was on night shift but had hung the washing and fed the dog before he left so that was as good a present to me
Garage sale was good-sold soooo many clothes! But all the big stuff is still here

Re: Valentine's day??
My DH came home after only an hour in the end, and then took his three girls out for lunch in Freo =)
That was sweet <3
More exciting was the pram spotting I did-
1 x CK mac [and, no, it wasn't Marns]
2 x Orange Volos
1 x that cute green and Blue quest
2 x cammys
1 x P&T with a bassinette on it- WTF is that????
and one revolting couple [although they were well dressed, had the orange volo] SMOKING in the kids playground area..... well, you should have heard my LOUD comments, I am such a cow to smokers!!!

Re: Valentine's day??
My DH went to work before I was even awake this morning. But....he was home at 1:30pm and the kids were dressed and ready to do "something". We went to the Aviation Museum in Bull creek. The kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed just "being" with DH Then....we drove around suburbs looking at their "bring out the dead" piles. Council bulk rubbish collection. So all in all not a bad day

Re: Valentine's day??
This year I'm embarrassed to say that I am the one who didn't get dh anything!
He got me some beads for my troll necklace
I seriously didn't expect anything as we are crazily saving for the trip and also with all the extensions and renovations going on... So I better start saving for a really nice birthday present for him

Re: Valentine's day??
I've taken my time on replying - apologies for that (busy working)
We have built a humungous bedroom on the front - enough room in it for a dressing room and sitting room and ensuite. We have also added a guest room onto our DD bedroom (her bedroom will become a study). Then when that is completed we knock down our existing games room and make a new one that is twice as big with a toilet and 2 x double sliding doors. One set going to alfresco right next to our pool. Our son's bedroom will be made bigger also. We will also get a new kitchen as the layout will change with walls removed etc. It is very exciting and I am more excited about the back being done We looked at display homes again today for more ideas on finishes and colours etc DH is a master bricklayer......he has done a fantastic job all by himself On Thursday our roof trusses arrive yippee!!
I woul dpost photos but will have to get Kate to show me how

Re: Valentine's day??
I would LOVE to see some pics! I've got some pics too but my renos seem small compared to yours! I am not really enjoying the process although I can't wait for the end of it. Are you nearly done with the renos? I can't believe you are seriously enjoying it! I can't wait till ours are over!
